More leg of lamb experiments {basil and thyme leg of lamb}

I made a leg of lamb and used the cooking directions on the package instead of a recipe. I also topped it with some herbs that sounded good.

1 leg of lamb (boneless)

basil, dried

thyme, dried

meat thermometer

a cast iron skillet

an oven

I preheated the oven to 350*F and put the lab in the skillet, fatty side up. I shook on some basil, kosher salt and thyme. Next into the oven it went until the thermometer registered 160* internally. I took it out and let it set for a while before slicing it. Delicious!
